The Safari has a 50.8.
The Silverado has a 79.8.
The Vue has a 38.3.
How does the most reliable car at my house have the lowest score?

My car is too old... but the Mazda CX7 has a 0

How about a platform breakdown? My 27 year old car has had 2 platforms after the one it was on was phased out and the car has been defunct for 12 years now.....

95.2!
![]() 11/10/2014 at 19:51 |

Durango - 67.6
My Millenia was a 0. Wow. Even my Cavalier was a 63.2. It's even listed on the first page for most power train issues, at 38.8%. Mine never had powertrain issues.
![]() 11/10/2014 at 19:51 |

Might have something to do with sample size, year range etc.

My BRZ isn't on there yet, and my MR2 seems bizarrely low considering how unkillable the 4AGE is.

Jeep Grand Cherokee: 58.9

39.2???? Must be a typo. Or calculation error.

I'm only 5 points off, Toyota SUV life!
![]() 11/10/2014 at 19:53 |

That would make sense, because while the Safari has a 50.8, the identical Astro had a 65.3.

Is the LS really that bad though?
![]() 11/10/2014 at 19:54 |

Small sample size maybe. Is it better or worse?
![]() 11/10/2014 at 19:55 |

Yes, some years more than others.

58.7. Not bad for the GP.

![]() 11/10/2014 at 20:06 |

82.6 for the Camry, even though specific model year data is lacking.
The old CX-9 got a 44.4. LUL. Somehow the RX-8 gets a better score than a CX-7 and Millenia. Odd.

100. Toyota Land Cruiser! FTW!
![]() 11/10/2014 at 20:08 |

I assume sample size, maybe Merc owners maintain it better, etc. It's less than a 15 point difference which is actually pretty close considering the size of the data.

For the record, mine has been the most reliable car I've ever owned. By far.
![]() 11/10/2014 at 20:16 |

Golf R isn't listed...therefore reliability must be infinitely high.
![]() 11/10/2014 at 20:17 |

Err yea, SLK sample size was 1/3 the Crossfire's. But damn dat 9.8
![]() 11/10/2014 at 20:28 |
|
62.4 - that's passing! Kinda hard to have engine issues when the damn thing gets stolen from you.
![]() 11/10/2014 at 20:30 |
|
So you wouldnt recommend?
![]() 11/10/2014 at 20:37 |
|
50.6 For the Golf.
Which makes no difference since the engine in my car isn't even offered in the US.
Oh and Audi Allroad:
56.1
WHAT?!
![]() 11/10/2014 at 20:47 |

BMW 325i- 62.2
![]() 11/10/2014 at 20:54 |

I'd join, but the site doesn't have my manufacturer, much less my actual car. I'm not really sure how well it'd score; I've found my car perfectly reliable for the two years I've owned it, and it doesn't have a terrible reputation by any means, but that doesn't really tell you much, honestly.

I've got a 2000 BMW 323 CI and there's a BMW 323 with 64.9, so there's that.
![]() 11/10/2014 at 21:48 |
|
No. Unless you can work on your car yourself and have money to spare, 2006 is the only year I recommend.
![]() 11/10/2014 at 21:48 |
|
What car?
![]() 11/10/2014 at 21:53 |
|
Peugeot 106. You can imagine why a US-focused site wouldn't list it.
![]() 11/10/2014 at 22:14 |

My E430 got a 75! Everyone who says Mercedes aren't reliable can suck it.
![]() 11/10/2014 at 22:22 |

44.2 for an Audi A6.
![]() 11/10/2014 at 22:36 |

They finally fixed it by then? :)

Neither the Niva or the Comanche were listed. The Cherokee on which the Comanche is based got a 65.8, although it's unclear weather they include the reputedly more problematic new one in with the XJ's.
![]() 11/11/2014 at 00:15 |

Not really, just suffered from a little less problems.
